This is a story about a girl named Sara. Sara was a normal girl, she went to school, went home, and came back. Her dad died when she was 9 years old in a car accident. Since he worked for a very special bank once he died, he left a very wealthy insurance for her mother and her. She lived an average life. She took care of her mother and focused on her studies. When she had time she would go out with her friends. But what she didn’t know was that there were two people watching every move. Knowing every meal she had, every trip she had to the supermarket. One day, she came from school to her house from school. Her mom was going to pick her up to go to the dentist. Once she was going to get into her mom’s car, three men surrounded her leaving her with no option but to give in and go with them. Her mom was on the car with another two men holding her, making her not look who was taking her daughter. She screamed for her to be returned to her mom but they said she would be fine. She was blindfolded not knowing where she was going. She came to this little house where she was taken into a room with a bed and a rope tied a small desk beside it. She had a small TV and she was only asked to put on a scarf on her eyes when she heard somebody come into the room. They had extra cloth for her, she could use it when she wanted to bath but it shouldn’t be so often. Everyday was like a day in the dessert, hopeless and disappointing, no one to rescue her or take her home. She was fed everyday with snacks, never a complete meal. The days she thought they would give her in, were the days she said she wanted to take a bath. She watched TV and tried to tuck some of the women, which took care of her, into helping her escape.
One day, she was alone in the house and she slowly went out the door, walked through the kitchen outside the house. She then noticed she was far away from home; there was no way somebody could take her home, besides one of the women was coming to check on her. So she went back into the house.
The day of her rescue was an average captive day, she was praying, like every day, for someone to go and take her out of there or just for trust that she was going to be fine. Suddenly, she heard the word “Police” in the outsides of her room. She immediately reacted scared, thinking there was a fight going on outside. So she grabbed her scarf, blindfolded herself, and waited for a miracle. Somebody grabbed her telling her she was going to do fine; she was in the arms of a police officer that was going to take her safe back home.
Now her life is very unusual, since now she thinks not even home is safe. She went to live to another country far away from here, a country called Puerto Rico. This was where she lives a vacation, distracting her of all those awful memories.
